“ Went for lunch at 130 on a weekday so it was pretty empty. Service could not have been better! We had a paper masala dosa enough for 2 people unless you are very hungry, regular masala dosa, bhel, papad, tadka dal, salty lassi, salty lime soda. Everything was tasty. Weve had all these dishes elsewhere, so we know what they should taste like. We liked the accompaniments with the dosas. Decor is basic with interesting wall art. ”
“ Great trusting food was still hot and firm even though we ordered delivery. I love the Mysore Doasa by wife loves the behl. I find it trashy as does my wife but some bites were a little spice so ask for mild if you cant handle....lol. Pakoras are great and Rotis taste homemade! Pain puri is good as well. Dal Tadka and dal makhani were great. Overall, great Indian food if you are ok with veterans options. ”
“ Excellent Indian food. We had pani puri, idli, vada, veg biryani and malai kofta. Everything was flavorful and well seasoned. The idlis were soft and fluffy. The vada was perfect crunchy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The coconut chutney and sambar were both excellent as well! Our server was kind, and our food arrived quickly. We will definitely come back in the future! ”
“ If you have never tried Indian Street food like Samosa Chaat, Paav bhaaji or Aaloo Paratha. Please visit UruSwati. I have been at this place, couple of times now and have absolutely loved their dishes. Also the servers here are very friendly, attentive and respectful and the food they serve, is also decorated very thoughtfully. Cleanliness and Hygiene wise also this restaurant stands out. I would recommend this place without any doubt and would like to say come out and grab a dosa or a dish of samosa chaat at UruSwati. ”
“ food was the best!! my cousin ordered this weekend. and wow best gujarati food i seen catering. ppl their food is fresh no doubt. only poor i they can work on but rest was excellent. ”
“ We ordered catering for my brother yesterday and he made a really nice meal. All our guests raved about it. ”
“ I cant even count the number of times Ive ordered from here, probably closing in on 100 the food is that good and consistent! The standard order includes palak paneer rich spinach, creamy paneer, never greasy, Chana masala I literally call it a hug, and dal makhani just the right amount of heat. The mango lassi is perfectly thick and not too sweet. Sometimes I order just the samosa because I crave it so much. I could go on and on about the other dishes but it all comes down to quality ingredients, carefully made, in the same way for years. Portions are large for the price, we usually have leftovers for days. Hands down my favorite Indian restaurant in Chicago! ”
“ We went to this restaurant recently and really liked the food. Its a vegetarian restaurant. Excellent customer service and very good variety. Food was very tasty. We tried dahi puri, vada pav, paneer paratha, dosas and chai. Its on the busy street and parking can be a challenge if you go during the rush hour. ”
